Where in the World? 3
Ok, class, you guys are getting the hang of this! The last post was too easy! So my mission is to challenge you with a more difficult one. I think I may have found just the picture! I'm ready for your best educated guesses!

I am not sure where this is, it looks like snow and land cracking, melting so it must be somewhere where it snows, but is also hot.There are also some mountains at the back, can it be somewhere in Iceland? Canada?
I think this place is either a picture of the drought in India, (because of the cracked ground) or a really hot western state (Like a certain state that starts with N!!!) hint hint ;) (Okay, I actually know where this is, but I'm not going to give it away, India in the drought was my first guess). Man, I love these. :D

Im guessing this picture was taken in Austrailia. Im guessing that because I know to the western part it is sort of desert like. Also isn't there some famous plateau or something there? Its orangey looking and I forgot the name. Well, I thought this because in the backround there are landforms similar to it. im probably wrong because I was very unlucky today :P
I think this is Death Valley in California because it looks a lot like that picture and also it,s obviously been in strong heat for along time and Death Valley is one of the hottest places on Earth (even hotter than Cyprus!)
I think this place is in Egypt because is the only country that the ground it is dry:)

I think it is some place in california I saw A photo once that looked like this and it said in a type of valley.
I also believe is in California because a saw a movie about this guy going on a trip in California and the ground looked a lot like this.
OK, my first guess - terrible as it is - was Antarctica, because the cracked ground looked so much like ice, but I soon saw the warm orange background and decided, wow, Sam, you're pretty stupid. So, next guess was a hot place in India. My guess- but I looked at other comments for inspiration, and saw some people had copied Leon, and so I googled Death Valley, and voila, the picture was there! But my guess,my honest guess, was a place in drought because of the sun and the cracked ground.

Hey Ms. Deu, this picture is definantly of The Death Valley in Eastern California. The Death Valley is one of the driest places in North America and is in the Mojave Desert. The rough, white, cracked ground is surely the same as The Death Valley's. The Death Valley holds the highest temperature in the whole of the Western hemisphere (56.7 C), which was measured in 1913 at Furnace Creek. It is actually the second hottest place in the world after Libya.
I am guessing that this picture is in the death valley.
